Big Weekend.

Aliyah had a pretty eventful weekend. Aliyah and dad ran in the Columbus Downtown Runaround. A 2.1 mile race around Pawnee Park with about 1000 other people. We got 1st place in the stroller division. :-)

Aliyah also got her hair cut for the first time on Saturday. Her bangs were beginning to touch her nose so we thought it was about time for a trim. Zonna did the cutting, while I held her head and hands. We didn't do too bad, if I do say so myself.

The biggest news from the weekend is Aliyah started crawling! She's still a beginner, but getting better every time she tries. I'll try to get a video clip posted later today...

Aliyah's 9-months-old!

Aliyah turned 9-months-old just the other day. Sorry. I'm a few days late posting her latest pics. Got a few good ones of her in the "chair" and in the swing at the park. Also, got a good one of her having a fun time visiting her friend Harper at "Aunt" Kathy's tonight.

Aliyah's First Fourth of July.

Aliyah had a great first Fourth of July. Instead of blowing things up (something an 8-month-old probably wouldn't enjoy very much, I'm told), we spent the day in Omaha at the Henry Doorly Zoo. This was Aliyah's first trip to the zoo and we're not sure what she enjoyed more...people watching or animal watching. Either way, she had a great day!
