Sunday afternoon...

Yesterday we got a new camera. Sony 290. Just like Darren. Of course, I had to spend most of the day taking pictures of my favorite subject!

Aliyah had her first trip to Gerrard Park this afternoon. She got to swing and go down the slides with dad.

Lots of changes.

There have been quite a few changes in Aliyah's life in the last week or so. Her mom has officially "retired" from her kindergarten position to take on a whole new teaching challenge, full-time stay-at-home mom. She's excited, but apprehensive as well. Aliyah has also cut her first tooth with another one on the way. We tried to get a good picture of it, but 7-month-olds aren't known for their willingness to show off their pearly whites. Aliyah has a new funny face, she uses when she's excited. We did get that one captured on film. That's all for now.

Aliyah is 7 months old!

Aliyah turned 7 months old today. She had a busy weekend. Her Uncle Darren graduated from UNL on Saturday and she was dedicated to the Lord at church on Sunday. She got to see Great Gma Bortle, Uncle Kent, Gma Porter and Gpa Porter this weekend. Ready for another exciting week at Gma's and Gay's.
