Here are a few pictures of Aliyah taken over the last several weeks. She's started getting better at balancing when she's sitting up and is definitely being more active with her hands and toys.

Aliyah is 5 months old!

Aliyah turned five months old today. She keeps growing bigger and bigger. We think she has grown a few inches just this last week! She's also developed a new smile the last couple of days. She sticks out her tongue and kind of wrinkles her nose. She's the cutest!

Aliyah's new Bumbo seat

Aliyah did a little shopping on eBay last weekend and she purchased herself a brand new Bumbo seat. Well, it arrived today and she absolutely loves it! She sat in it quite a bit tonight and played with her links. The only problem is she tries to "eat" the front part of the seat. We have to make sure she has a toy in her hands and maybe this seat will last a while.

Aliyah's eating some "solid" foods.

Well we did it. Aliyah has begun eating some "solid" foods. We've started feeding her some rice cereal in the evenings. She's not completely sold on it yet, but she's starting to figure it out. Of course, being a good papa I had to give it a try myself. Pretty bland! Can't wait until she starts eating some of the tastier (and messier) foods like carrots and peas!
