Christmas Snow Pictures

Here are a few pictures of our house and neighborhood during the blizzard today. Yes, we are snowed in and are waiting for the City to come plow the streets. Don't know how they will make it down here thanks to the genius who got stuck in the middle of the road. Second vehicle I saw stuck in the same drift today. Wasn't us. We couldn't even get that far down the street to even make an attempt!

Drift at end of our driveway. About 4' deep & 10' wide when I took the picture. Now it's about 5'+ and growing!

Only exit from our house. Note the white truck stuck in the middle of the street. Couple of 4' drifts that are about 20' wide. Yikes! I'm waiting City of Columbus road crews!

Merry Christmas!

Wasn't even able to drive across town to my folks today. (Got the F150 stuck at the end of the driveway!) Had Christmas here at home with Z and Aliyah. Been building towers with Aliyah's blocks she opened this morning and she keeps knocking them down. Maybe she has a future in demolition...

We're ready for Christmas! Aliyah and I are listening to Christmas music and she is walking around saying, "ra ra ra ra" which I'm pretty sure is her version of
"Deck the Halls....fa la la la la la la la la..."

December Update

Not a whole lot new here. Aliyah is a busy little bee now and loves exploring around the house. A couple of the latest pictures are below.

Fall fun.

Enjoyed some of the warm fall weather the last few days. Hit the trail north of town and fed some "wild" ducks at Pawnee Park. Aliyah really loves being outdoors. I see a hiker in our future!

Our baby chick

Here's a quick video of our little baby chick before going out Trick-Or-Treating. She loved waddling around in her outfit and making new friends where ever we went. Don't worry about the trip at the end of the video. Par for the course around this house anymore. She was fine.

Costume Parade

Today we went on a costume parade through 2 nursing homes with our MOPS group. Aliyah loved wearing her costume and smiling at the residents.

This is how Aliyah looked after her nap today...no wonder we love hair bows around here!

We've been trying to get her to sign different words to communicate. She's starting to get the hang of it. She's got all the words down that I know. Time to learn some new signs, I suppose.

Aliyah loves carrying this teapot around the house. She got it for her birthday and she loves running around the house with it. We just hope she doesn't trip and bonk her head!

Aliyah's first birthday!

Aliyah's Walking!

Vacation 2009
